HOTEL MANAGEMENT, DEVELOPMENT COMPANY ADDS REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES
CHESAPEAKE, VA – LTD Management, a Chesapeake VA-based hotel development and management company announces the addition of Jeffrey Bruce as Regional Director of Sales. In his new role, Bruce is responsible for the creation of sales and marketing strategies and execution of those strategies for LTD’s five hotels located in Mid-Atlantic region. This region is expected to expand to ten LTD managed hotels by 2008 and includes Richmond, Northern Virginia and Maryland.
Prior to joining LTD, Bruce was the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Sheraton Towson, where he was responsible for the development and execution of the sales and marketing strategies for the Sheraton. He also managed a staff of twelve and a budget of over $13 million. In 2006, his team achieved 11.5% growth in Average Daily Rate (ADR) and 10.6% growth in Revenue per Available Room (RevPar) in comparison to 2005 totals. Bruce also served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, MD where he oversaw a staff of 19 and handled a budget of over $11 million.
Bruce earned his Bachelors of Science from Radford University, and is an active member of Meeting Professionals International, Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
