NEW GENERAL MANAGER FOR NEW HAMPTON HOTEL
CHESAPEAKE, VA- LTD Management Company has announced Daniel Bettencourt as the new General Manager for their SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Hampton, VA. Bettencourt will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations and profitability of their respective hotel – including staffing, guest relations and overall maintenance. The SpringHill Suites will be located at the Power Plant of Hampton Roads on the south side of the Coliseum Central district. Slated to open in early 2008, the SpringHill Suites will stand next to another new LTD hotel- the Hilton Garden Inn which is scheduled to open this fall.
Bettencourt has over twelve years of experience in the hotel industry, specifically in hotel management. Prior to joining LTD, Bettencourt was the General Manager of the Embassy Suites in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he led a rapid performance turnaround initiative – taking the property from the bottom 10% to top 30% of all 180 Embassy Suites in the U.S.
