FREDERICK RECEIVES FIRST HILTON HOTEL
Group travel made easy with new personalized online booking
FREDERICK, MD- The first Hilton in Frederick County will be opening its doors on May 18, 2007 in Frederick, Maryland. The new Hilton Garden Inn was developed by LTD Management Company, L.L.C. (LTD). The hotel is located in the Westview Corporate Park- just 40 miles north of Dulles International Airport- at 7226 Corporate Court, close to Gettysburg and the National Museum of Civil War Medicine.
Once opened, hotel guests will also be treated to wireless internet access, business and fitness centers, relaxing sundeck and hot tub, restaurant services, conference room, and complimentary airport shuttles. The new Hilton/LTD property is a five story, 88,000 square foot development with 143 rooms including spacious king and double suites including living space separate from the bedroom.

With one third of business trips being booked online (New York Times), sophisticated business travelers can efficiently plan their meetings by using the Hilton Garden Inn’s new online booking programs. The first new service for business and group travel planners is called Personalized Online Group (POG). This web site allows attendees to book their group rate online from one web page. Each web page has its own unique URL for attendees to view and contains information about the group, hotel, room rates and applicable shoulder dates. Another online perk that the Hilton Garden Inn offers is the re-vamped eAdvantage service. This program, which is also used to book and manage corporate travel, has a new interface making it faster and easier to use.
