SUSTAINABILITY

LTD has a strong commitment to sustainability and green efforts. Below are some of the initiatives our organization has undertaken to further its commitment to the environment:

• Lease of office space at Liberty, Chesapeake, VA developed by Liberty Property Trust – a leading green developer
• Implementation of Corporate Recycling Program at LTD in 2007
• Re-use and donation of old, but still good furniture, carpet, wall coverings
• Implementation of energy saving bulbs and appliances in all of our hotels
• Implementation of automatic light sensors in back of the house areas
• Use of low VOC carpets and paints in new development and redevelopment
• Actively pursuing brown field developments
• U.S. Building Council Member from 2008-2009
